it s official now...
.... I am part of the evil empire now!
just to make a point though: at least they have one coffee that is fair trade coffee....and I bet small cute cafes couldn't claim that.... brother omi, i am in da club now!!!
congrats! And for what it's worth, I don't think Starbucks is an evil empire. It was started by one guy and it got HUGELY popular. That doesn't make him Wal-Mart, you know? They are horrible to their employees and all kinds of other evils. Can't say that of Starbucks.
yeah you are right, I actually don't think so either. it was a great interview though and when I mentioned that my friends always say 'uh, what, you are going to work for the evil empire' the manager was like 'oh that would be a reason to give you the job just so you can show your friends that it isn't an evil empire' (I lmao of course ;-)) I think it s pretty cool. at least as opposed to other restaurants and i get far more money at starbucks than anywhere else in the sector. decend working times, no smoke that you have to smoke passively and decent music (most of the time) and coffee for free. i like that. and i get a certificate as a barista and i guess i can work worldwide then with that certificate hahahaha. because, yes it is an empire and starbucks is everrrry where!
